Mexicana Airlines and Bank of America today announced consumers can earn a coupon for a free companion ticket after their first purchase and receive a $99 companion ticket coupon annually after that with the new Mexicana Airlines Visa Platinum credit card. This is the first airline card to offer this type of reward and the first Mexicana Airlines card in the United States. To redeem their companion ticket coupon, customers will simply provide the coupon number via phone to Mexicana Airlines.
The card is available nationwide, including the 13 U.S. cities where Mexicana flies -- Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Oakland, Portland, Sacramento, San Antonio, San Francisco, San Jose and, beginning July 1, Dallas. With 76 years of experience flying from Mexico to the United States, Mexicana stands out for offering services and products focused on the Hispanic passenger. Mexicana is currently the international airline transporting the most number of passengers between the two countries.
